How to Set up Your Language
en_US – English (US)
de_DE – Deutsch (German)
en_AU – English (Australia)
it_IT – Italiano (Italy)
nl_NL – Dutch (Nederlands)
sv_SE – Svenska (Swedish)
th_TH – Thai (Thai)
If you want to manage the language file or add your own its fairly straight forward:
1. Access the /wp-content/plugins/rb-agency/translation/ folder through FTP, here you will find rb-agency-en_US.mo and rb-agency-en_US.po files. These may be used as the starting point for the translation.
The translation files (.mo/.po) can be edited easily by downloading the POedit software http://www.poedit.net/download.php
2. Open the rb-agency-en_US.po file using the POedit software.
3. Start translating.
4. Click File > Save As
5. Replace the language/country code in the filename e.g from “en_US” to “it_IT”. (see a list of codes here: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language)
6. Click Save.
7. Upload both .mo/.po files via FTP to the /translation/ folder.
WordPress picks up on the character set of the browser. The language is auto selected based on the character set specified on your computer, so if you have your language settings to e.g. Spanish it will auto load in Spanish, but you can also change the default site language under settings: http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
To set your new language, update the settings here:
Before starting the process check with RB Agency support as it may already have been translated for you.
